Caught laying down on the job!

This afternoon I told Hanah to clean up her room. I kept having to get on to her because she wasn't obeying. Well, I didn't hear any moving in her room so I started to go in there "guns blazing" (if you know what I mean!), and this is what I saw...

Asleep... I mean out... Austin even came over and played in the room and she still didn't wake up! Guess I should have given her a nap before I told her to clean her room!!!

This is a game daddy and the girls play. Hanah says, "Come dad ets go to bed!" They then climb in our bed, get under the covers, and pretend so fall asleep.

Unbeknownst to daddy... Hanah screams and wakes daddy up!!! They play this game over and over again. Carol is even getting in on it. Joel will say "Night-night Carol, night-night" and Carol rolls over and pretends to be asleep. She tried pulling this on me the other day when I was trying to get them to go to sleep and they were up talking. I walked in their room and got on to them and said it's time to go night-night in my stern motherly voice, and Carol rolled over and pretended to be asleep! I wanted to die laughing!!! It's so hard to be upset with your kids when they do things that are just so cute!

This is Hanah and her best friend Chloe. Chloe and Hanah are INSEPARATABLE at church or where ever else they are together! However Chloe is moving to Alaska tomorrow so last week we had had one last sleep over! We are going to miss little Chloe so much!!!

Greetings to all!

I'm back again! It didn't take me that long to post this time. Instead of several months it took me one! Aren't we proud! HA HA HA!!! Anyway, it has been an eventful month! Carol became very sick for a couple of weeks. She came down with RSV. It's a respirtory virus that if not caught can be VERY serious. Luckily we caught it in time. She was put on steroids and breathing treatments. It took a while for her right lung to clear, however it did finally. When we went to her 18 month check-up the doctor said her lungs were perfectly clear!!! PRAISE GOD! He even tested her iron (for those of you who don't know she is anemic) and her iron levels were perfect so we were able to stop the iron supplements!!! That is an answer to prayer! What a miracle healing God we have!!! Another praise report is that she has FINALLY begun walking! She not everywhere... YET! However she does get around when need be. She definately likes to do things in her own timing! The doctor said he would be concered about autism if it wasn't for her unbelievable vocabulary! No worries there! She is doing very well now. I am very proud of her. Hanah is doing great too. She talks as if she is four not two! She is a motor mouth! I have no idea where that comes from (can you hear the sarcasm!)! She is so smart! Mommy and daddy are so proud of her too! Anyway enough of the chitter chatter here is what you really want to see the pics! We love and miss everyone!

Art Time

Today we got uncle Tj's address for bootcamp so Hanah wanted to paint him a picture. This is one of her favorite things to do. With Carol visiting a friend it was prime opportunity! Austin was visiting us too so he got to play with play dough. Which he LOVED!

This pic Hanah was asking me to clean her hands because they were too dirty! It's FINGER PAINTING!!! She is so girly! I wonder who that reminds me of??? Hmmmm... maybe Aunt Mis?!

This is for you Misi!!! I was working on my church's website, and kept hearing my big sissy's words in my ear... "You need to update your blog Rae, that is rediculous! I keep checking to see if there are new pics and every time I look the same ones are still there!" I love you Mis! Thanks for keeping me on my toes!!! Anyway here it my update!!! The girls are doing amazing getting smarter everyday. Hanah knows her ABCs, counts to 13 and six diferent shapes!!! She talks unbelieveably well for her age. I swear she is 2 going on 16! Carol is a trip!!! She is very spirited and loves to rough house with daddy of course! She talks unbelieveable well for her age too, and she loves to sing!!! She sings songs and does the actions with big sister all the time! She isn't walking completely yet... but she did take a few steps yesterday! Finally.. she is almost 17 months!!! They are both blessings!!! Anyway I am going to schedule myself to update the blog every tuesday (hopefully this works!) I will make a valliant effort! So misi I am going to try! You definately convicted me on that one sis!!! I love you for it! : )
